While at Mahan Rykiel Associates, Alice completed the grading, planting design, stone wall and paver detailing, and construction administration for the rooftop garden at the Ambassador Residences in Baltimore, MD. The retro-fitting of an intensive planted green roof on an existing parking garage, as well as ensuring for fully accessible design from both the street level and the building level provided plenty of grading and construction challenges, but the end result is a green oasis in a unexpected location.
